Deliverance & Healing from Rejection

Scripture: Psalm 27:10; Isaiah 49:15–16; Romans 8:15–17; Ephesians 1:3–6

Prayer

Father, I bring before You every wound of rejection in my life.

Every moment I felt unwanted.

Unchosen.

Unseen.

Abandoned.

Excluded.

Compared.

Overlooked.

Mocked.

Bullied.

Betrayed.

Discarded.

Or treated as though something was fundamentally wrong with me.

I acknowledge that these experiences hurt me, but I refuse to allow rejection to define my identity.

I forgive the people who rejected me.

I release parents, family members, friends, romantic partners, churches, leaders, classmates, coworkers, and anyone else whose rejection wounded my heart.

I renounce every lie I believed because of rejection including believing or saying the following statements:

“I am unwanted.”

“I don't belong.”

“I am difficult to love.”

“Everyone eventually leaves.”

“I must perform to be accepted.”

“I need everyone's approval.”

“There must be something wrong with me.”

I renounce self-rejection.

I renounce people pleasing.

I renounce fear of abandonment.

I renounce isolation.

I renounce approval addiction.

I renounce comparison.

I renounce the expectation that every relationship will eventually reject me.

Father, replace those lies with Your truth.

I am created intentionally.

I am known.

I am seen.

In Christ, I am adopted.

I belong to Your family.

My value does not rise and fall according to another person's acceptance.

Jesus, enter the memories where rejection formed my identity.

Heal what was wounded.

Restore my ability to receive love without suspicion and give love without desperation.

Teach me healthy attachment, healthy community, and healthy boundaries.

I receive the Spirit of adoption rather than the fear of rejection.

I belong to You.
