Renouncing Occult & Witchcraft

Prayer of Renunciation

Father God, I come before You in the name of Jesus Christ.

I acknowledge that Jesus Christ alone is Lord. He is my Savior, my King, my source of truth, wisdom, protection, power, healing, and spiritual life.

I repent for every place where I have knowingly or unknowingly sought spiritual power, knowledge, guidance, protection, healing, identity, or revelation from a source outside of You.

I renounce every involvement I have had with witchcraft, sorcery, spell work, ritual magic, white magic, black magic, chaos magic, ceremonial magic, divination, fortune telling, tarot cards, oracle cards, astrology, horoscopes, palm reading, pendulums, Ouija boards, séances, mediums, psychics, necromancy, spirit guides, channeling, automatic writing, astral projection, remote viewing, energy manipulation, psychic healing, Reiki, crystals used for spiritual power, sigils, charms, amulets, occult symbols, manifestation rituals, spirit communication, ancestor invocation, pagan worship, Satanism, demon worship, voodoo, hoodoo, Santería, or any other occult practice in which I personally participated.

I renounce every spell, ritual, invocation, incantation, dedication, vow, oath, pact, blood covenant, curse, agreement, initiation, or ceremony in which I participated.

I repent for every time I tried to control circumstances, people, relationships, outcomes, or the future through spiritual means rather than trusting God.

I renounce every spirit guide, familiar spirit, false guide, false revelation, deceptive spiritual voice, and every spiritual relationship established through these practices.

Jesus, forgive me.

I cancel my agreement with these practices and declare that they no longer represent who I am.

I belong to Jesus Christ.

I renounce every fear that tells me these practices still have ownership over me.

I forgive anyone who introduced me to occult practices, manipulated me through them, frightened me with them, or used them against me.

In the name of Jesus Christ, I close every doorway I personally opened through occult participation.

I dedicate my mind, imagination, dreams, body, home, relationships, gifts, creativity, and spiritual life to Jesus Christ.

Holy Spirit, purify what has been distorted. Teach me to recognize Your voice. Restore discernment where deception entered.

I choose the wisdom that comes from God rather than secret knowledge.

I choose prayer instead of divination.

I choose surrender instead of control.

I choose Jesus instead of spiritual counterfeits.

Father, fill every place I have surrendered with Your presence, truth, peace, and love.

I declare that Jesus Christ is Lord over my life.
